Tracking widespread showers and storms before a late-week warm-up

Today: Temperatures top out into the upper-'50s this afternoon thanks to widespread showers and storms. Showers and storms will remain widespread throughout this afternoon into the evening hours.

Tonight: Showers and storms will continue promoting southerly flowing winds leading to overnight lows bottoming out near average into the mid-'40s.

Extended: Showers and storms will push to the east into the early morning hours leading to a dryer commute in the morning. Another round of scattered storms pushes into Central Missouri Thursday aternoon lasting into Friday morning. Temperatures top out into the lower-'80s heading into this weekend before another cold front slightly cools down Central Missouri increasing chances of showers
