Tracking the coldest morning of the week

SUNSHINES ON THE WAY
KMIZ

FRIDAY

We’re shivering a little bit to start but some sunshine will help matters out by this afternoon. Highs will climb into the mid to upper 50’s today

TONIGHT

Clouds will increase this evening ahead of our next rain chance. Showers will push in shortly after midnight but should depart Saturday morning. Overnight lows will fall into the middle 40’s.

EXTENDED

With the rain exiting by the mid to late morning hours, we can salvage most of our Saturday. Sunshine will return as temperatures try to get back to 60. They’ll get there with ease Sunday with those bright skies sticking around. You might want to get out and enjoy the vitamin D while we have it this weekend, though. Rain chances will return Sunday night as a front approaches the area. That threat for rain will linger into Monday, increasing Monday night as another disturbance rolls through. A cold front will try to clear the slate, but keep the rain chances around into Wednesday. Highs for the first part of the week will hover in the 60’s before falling into the 50’s by the end of next week.
