Tracking a stubborn system that leaves just in time for the weekend

TONIGHT

With the highest rain producing showers and storms gone, lingering showers will persist overnight tonight, before clearing out in the early morning hours on Saturday.

SATURDAY

Temperatures cool into the upper 30's by sunrise to kick off the weekend. Temperatures will climb into the upper 50's by the afternoon with increasing sunshine.

EXTENDED

Sun returns for Sunday, with winds returning to a more southerly direction. This will push temperatures back into the low 70's again to end the weekend. Clouds will be on the increase throughout the day Monday as we visit the 70’s one more time. Our next system will put an end to the mild temperatures by midweek, but bring periods of showers and storms Monday night through Wednesday morning. Highs will tumble from the 70’s on Monday, into the 60’s on Tuesday, before settling into the 50’s by Wednesday and Thursday. The end of next week looks to end near seasonable temperatures.
