Tracking a soggy start

rain off and on
KMIZ

FRIDAY

Rain will be off and on throughout the day. Temperatures will hover in the low to mid 50’s until this afternoon when things will start to cool off. Don’t be surprised to hear a rumble of thunder or two at times.

TONIGHT

Rain will come to a close around sunrise as this system pushes east. Overnight lows will fall into the mid to upper 30’s.

EXTENDED

The clouds exit with the rain quickly on Saturday, bringing back some brighter skies. Highs will still top out in the upper 50’s tomorrow, warming to near 70 on Sunday. Clouds will be on the increase throughout the day Monday as we visit the 70’s one more time. Our next system will put an end to the mild temperatures by midweek, but bring periods of showers and storms Monday night through Wednesday morning. Highs will tumble from the 70’s on Monday, into the 60’s on Tuesday, before settling into the 50’s by Wednesday and Thursday.
