Tracking mild temperatures next two days, late week rain

TONIGHT: Mostly clear with lows in the low to mid-40s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and breezy with highs in the lower 70s. High tree pollen levels expected.

EXTENDED: We drop into the mid-40s again tonight with less cloud cover, and see mostly sunny skies tomorrow. Thursday starts off mild with a low near 50, and highs getting up to the low 70s. Clouds start to roll in Thursday afternoon ahead of a front that will bring a good dose of rain and cooler temperatures Thursday night into Friday. There could be a few rumbles of thunder Thursday night, but severe weather isn't expected. The timing looks to be from about sunset through mid-afternoon on Friday. We'll see temperatures falling from the low 50s in the morning through the 40s in the afternoon. It will be a chilly start Saturday with lows in the 30s, but we rebound as winds shift during the day back to the south. Highs reach the low 60s Saturday and top out near 70 on Sunday. Next week starts off active with another low pressure system moving across the area and bringing rain and/or a few thunderstorms Monday night into Tuesday. The 7-day rain total will be around 1-1.25". Taking a peek at extended trends, it looks like we'll hang onto spring like temperatures with a few minor cool downs through the end of the month.
