Tracking some light snow showers this morning

ROADS HOLDING
KMIZ

MONDAY

A few snow showers will greet some folks this morning. Some folks might end up with a light dusting on those grassy, elevated surfaces but roads should just stay wet. Those will move east by 9-10 AM, leaving us stuck in the cold this afternoon with highs in the 30’s.

TONIGHT

Skies will clear up a bit tonight, bringing down those temperatures. We’ll fall into the middle 20’s for overnight lows.

EXTENDED

Sunshine returns on Tuesday and Wednesday, helping those temperatures recover. Highs will make it back into the upper 40’s tomorrow, warming into the 50’s Wednesday. We’ll get to the 50’s again Thursday but our next system will be moving in. Showers will be possible during the day, with a transition to some snow Thursday night. That snow will wrap up sometime Friday, and could lead to some accumulations in spots. The cold air will move in to close out the week, with highs falling all the way into the 30’s Friday. We make it down into the teens Friday night with another afternoon spent in the 30’s Saturday. We shake off the chill on Sunday, with highs making it back into the 50’s.
