Tracking a very spring-like start to meteorological spring

TONIGHT

Abundant sunshine and a healthy breeze is pushing temperatures into the 70’s this afternoon. As dry as things still are, grass fires could get out of hand quickly so you’ll want to avoid the outdoor burning. These clear skies stick around for tomorrow, which means tonight will get a bit chilly. Expect lows back near 40 degrees.

WEDNESDAY

Wednesday looks even warmer, with continued southerly flow through the majority of the day. Expect mostly sunny skies, with highs climbing into the mid to upper 70's.

EXTENDED

Those winds will flip out of the north overnight into Thursday as a front moves through. That will keep highs in the upper 50’s for Thursday but we’ll rebound into the 60’s on Friday. A warm front will be lifting north during the day, bringing more clouds with it to end the week but we’ll stay dry. Multiple chances for rain will move in starting Friday night. Another round looks possible Saturday afternoon with a third waiting for us Sunday afternoon. Temperatures will stay warm on Saturday, in the upper 60’s, before falling into the 50’s by Sunday.
