THURSDAY

We’re waking up to some lingering freezing drizzle and flurries in some spots this morning. Another round of sleet and snow will push in by 8-9 AM south of I-70. That will fill in throughout the morning and stay with us into this afternoon. Another inch or two will be possible by the time this system pushes east tonight. Highs will hover in the 20’s throughout the day.

TONIGHT

Light snow will come to an end from west to east by 9-10 PM as this latest system comes to a close. Lows will fall into the teens overnight under mostly cloudy skies.

EXTENDED

We’ll bring back the sunshine on Friday, but we’re a tad slow to warm up. We’ll top out near the freezing mark to end the week. Temperatures start a slow warming trend into the weekend, pushing into the 40’s Saturday and working towards the 50’s by Sunday. We’ll hang on to the 50’s to start next week with the 60’s showing back up by Wednesday.
