MONDAY

It’s feeling like spring as you step outside today! Clouds will be on the increase throughout the day as temperatures soar into the upper 60’s behind a southerly breeze. Get out and enjoy it’s here!

TONIGHT

We’ll stay mild tonight with overnight lows only falling into the 50’s. Showers will move into the picture late this evening with a few storms possible overnight. One or two storms could bring some gusty winds alongside some lightning tonight.

EXTENDED

Temperatures will be in free-fall once the rain leaves tomorrow morning. We’ll fall into the 30’s by the afternoon, bottoming out in the teens Wednesday morning. Highs will only reach the upper 20’s and low 30’s for the rest of the week. With cold air in place, we’re tracking a few disturbances moving through, tapping into that cold air. The first will arrive late Wednesday, possibly bring a few snow showers to Mid-Missouri. Accumulations look fairly limited at this point in time. A second disturbance moves in Thursday, which will pack a bit more of a punch. This one appears to have a shot at bringing a few more inches of snow with it, with the timeframe looking to center around the daylight hours Thursday. Things will settle down once again into this weekend, but temperatures will stay cool, with highs in the mid to upper 30’s.
