Tracking a cold start with warmer weather on the way

FRIDAY

Temperatures waking up this morning are in the single digits where we picked up more snow yesterday. Our breeze will pick back up but it’s out of the southwest today, which will help push temperatures into the 30’s this afternoon. Plenty of sunshine will help contribute to the melting as well.

TONIGHT

We’ll need to watch out for places to refreeze overnight. Temperatures will bottom out in the teens under mostly clear skies.

EXTENDED

A glancing blow from a cold front early Saturday will hold highs in the middle 30’s tomorrow. We’ll turn things around though on Sunday thanks to a bit of a head start. Temperatures will go soaring into the upper 50’s to close out the weekend. We’ll hang on to the mild weather Monday before cooling down for the rest of the week. The low 60’s on Monday will give way to the 30’s by Wednesday for highs with rain chances to track in between. A few more disturbances will keep things interesting Wednesday and Thursday with cold air in place.
