Tracking some warmer weather returning

warming up again
KMIZ

MONDAY

A little chilly to start this morning, but things will warm up this afternoon. Plenty of sunshine and light winds will be comfortable later today, with highs in the upper 40’s.

TONIGHT

We hang onto mostly clear skies overnight. Lows won’t be quite as cold, in the upper 20’s.

EXTENDED

That warmer start and winds picking up out of the south will work wonders on temperatures tomorrow. Highs will make a run at 60 tomorrow and again on Wednesday, but rain’s on the way back in Wednesday afternoon. Rain will break out ahead of our next potent system. Showers will stay with us overnight Wednesday into Thursday as much colder air starts to rush in. That is expected to change over the rain to a wintry mix and eventually snow by Thursday morning. There is still a lot of details to iron out over the next few days, so be sure to check back frequently before Thursday. Precipitation will wrap up Thursday afternoon leaving us about 30 degrees colder before we start to climb out of the cold. Highs will warm from the low 40’s Friday into the upper 40’s Saturday, reaching the upper 50’s Sunday.
