Tracking a tranquil start to the week

quiet pattern
KMIZ

MONDAY

A few clouds strolling out of the north today will have to qualify as active weather to start the week. A front’s moved through already, which will keep us from warming up beyond yesterday. Highs will reach the low 40’s once again.

TONIGHT

Winds will turn southwesterly this evening, which will keep temperatures propped up overnight. We’ll only bottom out around 30.

EXTENDED

That warmer start will get the day started on the right foot tomorrow. Highs will warm into the 50’s with ease before some afternoon clouds roll in. A front will turn winds out of the north late Tuesday but it won’t be in time to keep highs from threatening 50 on Wednesday. The cooler air spills in Thursday, dropping highs into the lower 40’s before rebounding nicely Friday into the 50’s. Another front will push through late Friday, bringing a better surge of cold air to start the weekend. Highs will get knocked all the way back into the 30’s before recovering into the 40’s Sunday.
