Tracking a frigid start to the weekend

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cold with lows in the low single digits. Wind chills between -5 and 0.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and warmer with highs in the low to mid-30s.

EXTENDED: Sunshine is making it extra bright with all the snow on the ground this afternoon, but with clear skies we'll drop down into the single digits once again with wind chills between -5 and zero. After a cold start to the morning, we'll warm into the mid-30s tomorrow with more sunshine and lows falling into the upper teens to around 10. We'll see a few more clouds on Sunday as a dry front passes through, and temperatures hovering just below 40. Behind this front we drop into the lower 30s on Monday, but the dry stretch continues into next week as we get even warmer each day. Temperatures climb back into the upper 40s by Tuesday and Wednesday, and cool a bit toward the end of the week.
