Tracking mild conditions this weekend

SATURDAY: Cold start in the mid to upper 30s. A big warmup hits later as highs make a run for the upper 50s. Winds will reach up to 20 mph this afternoon.

SUNDAY: A small disturbance late Saturday will shift winds out of the north for the second half of the weekend. Highs drop almost ten degrees but this actually puts us near average in the low 50s.

EXTENDED: A steady warmup is expected throughout the week even as multiple systems traverse our region. A small clipper will move in Saturday afternoon but only brings breezes and a few clouds in. Another system on Monday will drag a front through our area but we only see some more clouds again. This will largely be due to a lack of moisture and these systems will lead to a small "see-saw" of temperatures during the early workweek. We fluctuate between the mid to upper 50s before highs rise to the low 60s by Thursday. More minor disturbances may be on the way later this week but will still struggle to produce rain. Long-range models are hinting at a change next weekend though which may bring a return of cooler conditions.
