Tracking warming conditions for gameday

TODAY: Increasing clouds throughout the day. Tailgaters will need to keep the coat on hand with temperatures in the 40s in the morning. A later kickoff will allow warmer conditions to move in by game time with highs in the upper 50s! Breezes also pick up this afternoon with gusts up to 20 mph.

TOMORROW: A cold front moves through overnight but will struggle to bring more than light showers to our area. Rain exits midmorning and sunshine returning will allow highs to reach near average in the mid-50s.

EXTENDED: Frigid conditions move in behind the front for Monday morning with lows dipping to the upper 20s. Monday is a COLD and windy day with strong northwest breezes keeping us around 40 during the afternoon. Another brief warmup hits on Tuesday with highs again near average in the 50s. Holiday travelers will want to watch for rain chances as we get closer to Thanksgiving. An active pattern sets up midweek with a cold front tracking through on Wednesday to bring scattered rain to the region. Showers linger into Thanksgiving through midmorning and chillier conditions set in by the afternoon with highs stuck in the 40s. Mid-Missouri is expected to be gripped by below-average chill heading into next weekend.
