Tracking a warmer and windy Tuesday

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and mild with lows in the mid-40s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy with highs in the lower to mid-70s. South winds gust between 20-25 mph.

EXTENDED: Tomorrow is even warmer as temperatures rise into the low to mid-70s with continued gusty winds ahead of our next cold front that moves in tomorrow night through Wednesday. That will bring increasing clouds tomorrow evening followed by showers early on Wednesday, and falling temperatures. Rain amounts are expected to be under 1/4" of an inch. We'll start out Wednesday in the 50s but fall into the upper 40s as the afternoon progresses. Thursday and Friday are looking dry but cooler in the wake of this system as we drop into the upper 20s and low 30s at night and reach the mid-upper 40s during the day. The weekend looks a little cloudier but is warmer in the mid-50s; more pleasant for Florida's arrival at Mizzou. There could be a system early next week that impacts holiday travel, but the forecast guidance has wobbled quite a bit with that over the last few days so we'll wait to put out an extended forecast for Thanksgiving at this point.
