Tracking a slim shot at some sprinkles

TUESDAY: The clouds have moved back in this morning and will stick with us for much of the day. A few sprinkles will be possible by this afternoon, but most of us should stay dry. Highs will make it into the middle 60’s.

TONIGHT: Under mostly cloudy skies temperatures will be slow to cool off overnight. Lows will bottom out around 50.

EXTENDED: We’ll pick up a chance for a few showers tomorrow morning but the main push of rain still looks to be in the evening. That will give temperatures time to climb into the 60’s for one last time this week. Once the rain moves in, it will be here until early Thursday morning, dumping about 0.50”-0.75” of rain. Behind it on Veteran’s Day, sunshine will return but flags around the area will be pressed against a westerly breeze. Winds gusting up to 25 mph will likely stay here through the weekend. Highs will drop from the 60’s on Wednesday into the 50’s Thursday. They’ll cool off even more into the 40’s for the weekend. We’re tracking a quick-moving system that could bring some short-lived rain chances to Saturday night.
