Tracking a warm and sunny weekend

TODAY: Mostly sunny and warm with highs in the mid-60s.

TOMORROW: Warming up under clear skies. Highs in the upper 60s.

EXTENDED: Don't forget to turn your clocks back an hour and gain some extra sleep on Saturday night for the end of Daylight Saving Time! Expect a breezy weekend across Mid-Missouri with steady southwesterly winds. This will fuel our warmup the next few days with highs peaking in the low 70s on Monday. Clouds move in Tuesday as a precursor to showers for the rest of the workweek. We may get a few sprinkles on Tuesday but rain chances really pick up Wednesday and Thursday with a frontal system lingering near our area. Highs begin to cool to the low 60s/upper 50s through the rain. Rainfall totals will end up between 0.5" and 1". Skies clear quickly before next weekend and chilly conditions move in behind the front with highs dropping to the upper 40s.
