Tracking warmer air for the weekend ahead of rain chances next week

TONIGHT: Today will be the warmest since the weekend, with highs reaching the upper 50's. Clear skies and southerly winds will carry us through the night. Thanks to clear skies, temperatures will dive again into the upper 30's. Some may see mid 30's, but a modest southerly breeze should keep frost at bay for most.

SATURDAY: Tomorrow we climb back above average with temperatures jumping into the low 60's by the afternoon. A few more clouds are expected Saturday, but you'll still want to keep the sunglasses handy.

EXTENDED: We’re in the upper 60’s on Sunday, where things look to hold for a few days. Clouds will be on the increase Monday, but the showers look to hold off until Tuesday. Far from a washout, Tuesday looks to feature just a few showers throughout the day. A better chance at widespread rain with a few rumbles of thunder looks to be later in the day on Wednesday. The rain looks to stay with us into Thursday as cooler air starts to funnel in. Temperatures will still be in the low 60’s Wednesday before dropping into the 50’s to end next week.
