Tracking the first frosty start for many

coldest
KMIZ

WEDNESDAY: After another chilly start, we’ll enlist the help of some sunshine to thaw us out. Temperatures will rebound into the low 50’s this afternoon under mostly clear skies.

TONIGHT: Clouds look like they’ll get held back enough overnight that temperatures will cool off in a hurry this evening. Lows will bottom out in the low 30’s again.

EXTENDED: We’ll be tracking a few more clouds Thursday but the end result looks the same with highs in the low 50’s. Our winds will start to pick up out of the south starting on Friday. That will carry temperatures in the afternoons a little further than we’ve seen them get this week. Highs on Friday will reach the mid to upper 50’s, warming into the low 60’s Saturday, and putting 70 in reach Sunday. That warmer weather looks to stick around for the start of next week before rain chances return Tuesday into Wednesday.
