Tracking a dry and cool Halloween

HALLOWEEN: Clear with highs in the mid-50s. Breezes pick up a bit in the afternoon with gusts up to 20 mph. Winds settle down by the evening and temperatures will be in the upper 40s for trick-or-treating.

TOMORROW: Chilly to start with lows in the mid-30s. Scattered showers are possible during the day and this keeps highs right around 50 degrees.

EXTENDED: We have cooler conditions in store for Halloween thanks to a dry cold front that will move through early today. This cooldown continues into the workweek as rain chances return to Mid-MO. Scattered showers will be possible from Monday through late Tuesday/early Wednesday with a disturbance lingering near our area. Highs get stuck in the upper 40s most of the week, and frost will be possible in the mornings with lows near freezing. The better chances for frost look to be late week after showers clear out and high pressure moves in.
