Tracking a nice end to the week

sunny skies

FRIDAY: After a chilly start this morning, temperatures look to rebound by this afternoon. Clouds will gradually clear out, making way for a return to sunny skies to end the week. Highs will top out in the upper 50’s and ow 60’s.

TONIGHT: The evening looks to stay dry, but scattered showers will move in overnight south of HWY 50. Lows look to bottom out in the upper 40’s.

EXTENDED: Those showers in our southern counties will stay down there for tomorrow morning, leaving a good majority of Saturday dry. Highs will get a chance to get back into the 60’s by the afternoon. A warm front will lift north overnight, bringing the storms with it. Some of those have a chance to be fairly organized, with heavy rain and some hail possible into the early morning hours on Sunday. Those look to make it far enough north by midday to give many of us a break in the action, allowing the atmosphere to recover. That will open the door to severe storms by Sunday afternoon. Those will push through by midnight, leaving Monday dry. All severe threats will be possible. Our next weather maker moves in towards the middle of next week, bringing back some more showers and storms Tuesday night into Wednesday. Highs look to fall out of the 70’s for the second half of next week.
