Tracking more showers and storms later today

RAIN GEAR
KMIZ

FRIDAY: Most of us look to start out the day dry outside of an isolated shower. That will change for many of us this afternoon. Scattered showers and storms look to get going again and will last into this evening. Highs will top out in the low to mid 80’s.

TONIGHT: We’ll lose most of the rain overnight, but hang on to the partly cloudy skies. Lows will fall into the middle 60’s.

EXTENDED: We’re looking dry again to start the day on Saturday but more storms are on the way. Saturday still looks to be the best chance to reach more of us with the rain by the afternoon. We’ll hang on to scattered showers and storms into the overnight hours with a few leftovers by Sunday morning. We’re on the cool side of the front Sunday, but a few lingering showers will be possible as those clouds hang on. Highs this weekend look to top out in the upper 70’s, a number we might get used to seeing. A few afternoon showers will be possible Monday, but we’re drying out other than that. It’ll feel like fall again, with temperatures starting in the low 50’s and topping out in the 70’s!
