Tracking scattered showers with cooling temperatures this week

Today: Tempeartures continue to climb to 92 degrees in Columbia while winds have calmed down out of the south. Skies continue to stay sunny throughout the afternoon with low relative humidity.

Tonight: Clear skies and calm winds lead to overnight lows dropping into the lower '60s out ahead of an approaching low-pressure system off to the southwest.

Extended: Wednesday night, scattered showers begin to approach from the south as warm and moist Gulf air flows into Central Missouri. The possibility of scattered showers stays with us every day heading into this weekend where tempeartures begin to cool. Highs this weekend top out into the upper '70s.
