Tracking a quick warmup into the workweek

TODAY: Cool to start in the mid-50s. Watch for fog while on roadways early. Highs will be much warmer than yesterday as we reach the mid to upper 80s.

TOMORROW: Heat moves in with highs reaching the 90s. Expect lots of sunshine and a breezy afternoon with wind gusts up to 25 mph.

EXTENDED: Warm southerly winds will flow into Mid-MO over the next few days to keep the heat in. Highs hit the 90s again on Tuesday but should dip back to the upper 80s by Wednesday. Our next chances for rain arrive midweek as a few disturbances roll through and slowly decrease temperatures. Highs will still remain seasonally warm in the low 80s by next weekend however.
