Tracking a chance to pick up a shower tomorrow evening

TONIGHT: Mostly clear overhead tonight. Temperatures will settle down in the low 60’s by sunrise.

FRIDAY: That cooler start will lead to a warmer end by the afternoon. Highs will once again reach the upper 80’s. We’re tracking a cold front that will move in by the evening. A few showers could hold together long enough to bring some rain to some of those high school football games. Our best chance to see some of those would be north of I-70.

EXTENDED: We’ll stay dry through the weekend. Highs will approach 90 each day, likely feeling a few degrees warmer with the humidity factored in. We’re tracking a disturbance moving through on Monday that could generate a few showers and storms during the day but our chances look pretty slim. Those chances pick up Tuesday into Wednesday as a cold front sweeps through, knocking temperatures back into the upper 70’s and low 80’s for rest of next week.
