Tracking a warm start to the week with mid-week showers

Tonight: gusty winds continue out of the southwest at 10-15 mph as the overnight low cools to 64 degrees. Sky conditions in Mid-Missouri will remain mostly clear.

Tomorrow: Monday looks to warm up with a high of 89 degrees and mostly clear skies. Winds decrease throughout the late morning hours to five mph holding from the south.

Extended: Tuesday afternoon a cold front pulls through from Nebraska and Iowa leading to increased chances of showers and storms beginning Tuesday late afternoon lasting through Wednesday afternoon. This will cause a decrease in temperatures for Wednesday with highs topping out in the lower '80s. Thursday and Friday look to be mostly clear with small chances of short-lived, scattered storms in the afternoon hours. These storms will die out quickly and most of Central Missouri will remain dry. Temperatures continue to rise up to 90 by Sunday with clear sky conditins.
