Tracking fantastic conditions for Labor Day

LABOR DAY: Clear skies, low humidity and highs in the upper 80s this afternoon. Grab the sunscreen and water bottle when heading outdoors! Temperatures will fall to the mid-70s in the evening.

TOMORROW: Pleasant weather continues with highs reaching the low 90s. Expect a breezy afternoon as a cold front moves in. Areas south of I-70 could see a bit more moisture before the front moves through; the heat index may reach the upper 90s.

EXTENDED: The cold front will bring very limited chances for rain and there'll be some more cloud cover during the day. Cooler temperatures are on the way behind the front as highs sink to the mid to low 80s on Wednesday and Thursday and moisture exits. A ridge will settle on top of Missouri towards the end of the week and highs slowly climb to around 90 degrees by the close of next weekend.
