Tracking another fantastic afternoon
THURSDAY: Get out and enjoy today! No issues other than a few passing clouds throughout the day. Highs will top out in the middle 80's, but the lack of humidity will feel nice and refreshing.
TONIGHT: Clouds will start to ripen up overnight but we'll manage to stay dry until after midnight. Showers and storms will start to move in by the morning commute on Friday.
EXTENDED: Storms will return early in the day, with the best coverage favoring the morning hours on Friday. A few isolated showers will be possible towards the afternoon and evening, but the coverage will be few and far between. Highs on Friday will struggle to get out of the 70's. Another round of storms looks slated to move through overnight into Saturday morning. We're still hopeful that we can move the bulk of this round out of here by Saturday afternoon, salvaging at least part of the start of the holiday weekend. The rest of the extended weekend looks dry, with highs returning to the middle 80's Sunday, possibly touching 90 on Labor Day. Things look to stay quiet with temperatures bouncing around in the 80's as we get back to work on Tuesday.
