Tracking lower humidity, beautiful Wednesday and Thursday

TONIGHT: Spotty storms diminish, patchy fog develops by early morning. Lows in the upper 60s.

TOMORROW: Fog dissipates, leaving us with mostly sunny skies. Highs in the mid-80s with lower humidity.

EXTENDED: A few spotty showers have developed across northeast Missouri in the wake of this morning's round that died out quickly. Any further development this afternoon and evening is expected to be east of Highway 54 through about sunset. As precipitation clears, we'll continue to have light winds that will allow patchy fog to develop by morning, especially for the southern half of the area. We clear out fog and cloud cover tomorrow, leaving us with more sunshine and lower humidity with highs in the mid-upper 80s. Thursday looks like the nicest day of the week with a high near 85 and dew points near 60 -super comfortable! Another system will bring a chance for rain and storms on Friday (potentially earlier in the day) through the first half of Saturday. At this point I am optimistic about rain clearing Columbia in time for the Mizzou game at 3:00 p.m., but there could still be some showers or storms south of I-70 into late afternoon. Sunday and Monday look warmer but we'll continue with lower humidity so the heat index shouldn't be a big problem, and we're dry both of those days for outdoor holiday plans.
