Tracking clearing clouds and a hot weekend

TODAY: Some lingering showers early and gradually clearing clouds. Highs in the upper 80s with a heat index close to the mid-90s. An isolated shower or two is possible this afternoon as a cold front lingers.

TOMORROW: Sunnier and highs right around 90 degrees. A bit less moisture so more comfortable for heading outdoors. Grab the sunscreen and water bottle!

EXTENDED: High pressure pushes the front back north on Monday and brings in more moisture from the south. Temperatures reach the mid-90s each afternoon through Wednesday with a heat index from 100-103. This pattern breaks down towards the end of the week with some rain chances entering the forecast. Highs approach normal averages in the low 90s by next weekend.
