Tracking more of a summer feel moving back in

warmer weather
KMIZ

TUESDAY: It’s another comfortable start but you might begin to feel a little more humidity today. Winds have swung out of the southeast, which will help carry some more moisture in. That will lead to a few more clouds this afternoon, keeping highs in the middle 80’s. We might be able to wring out a shower or two from those clouds this afternoon, but most of us should stay dry.

TONIGHT: Any showers will be confined to the evening, leaving us dry overnight. Lows will back off into the upper 60’s.

EXTENDED: Wednesday and Thursday look like copies of one another. Most of us will be looking at partly cloudy skies, but a few showers will be possible each day. Highs will stretch a bit, more into the upper 80’s. We’re tracking a frontal boundary on Friday that will give us a better chance to see some areawide storms. It’s a bit too soon to know how strong these could be, so stay tuned. That front looks like it will stall and return north this weekend, keeping the rain chances around, and never really cooling us down. Temperatures will be parked in the upper 80’s through Sunday with some warmer weather on the way next week.
