Tracking another magnificent afternoon

comfortable
KMIZ

MONDAY: Another pleasant afternoon set to unfold. Temperatures will push into the middle 80’s with plenty of sunshine, especially early. Easterly winds will keep things feeling comfortable like it was this weekend.

TONIGHT: Those winds will become a bit more southeasterly, leading to a slightly warmer night. Lows will fall back into the middle 60’s under mostly clear skies.

EXTENDED: That warmer night will be a sign of things to come. Highs on Tuesday will top out in the upper 80’s with a few spotty showers possible. The good news is that’s about as hot as things will get this week. Temperatures on Wednesday will hold in the upper 80’s, but some slight rain chances will stick around as well. The final two days this week will have some slightly better shots at picking up some showers and storms. A front looks to approach from the northwest on Friday, leading to our widest coverage. One or two more rounds of storms look possible into the weekend, with plenty of dry time in between. Highs on Saturday and Sunday will stay in the mid to upper 80’s.
