Tracking lower humidity and temperatures through mid-week

TONIGHT: Mostly clear with smoky haze holding on overnight. Lows near 60 degrees.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and hazy with highs near 80.

EXTENDED: Temperatures are hanging out in the low 80s and dew points in the 50s to around 60 is making it feel like early fall. We get this nice break from the summer heat over the next couple of days, with temperatures in the low 80s with low humidity through Wednesday. Our pattern begins to shift mid-to-late week as the upper winds become more zonal, or west to east. That will bring a few disturbances our way and rain chances increase on Thursday along with temperatures rising to about 85. We end the week on a hot note as highs get back to near 90. The weekend is expected to be hot and unsettled with temperatures reaching the low 90s and a chance for at least a few showers and storms on both Saturday and Sunday, however the "lift" for potential storms over the weekend looks more favorable to our north. Warmer than average temperatures look to continue into the following week with highs in the 90s and lows in the low to mid-70s.
