Tracking clear skies and mid-week heat

Tonight: Isolated showers will continue into the overnight hours and begin to diminish early Monday morning. The overnight low drops to 70 thanks to a passing cold-front pushing south.

Tomorrow: Early on Monday, valleys and waterways could see some patchy fog cover which will dissipate throughout the early hour's thanks to the cooler temperatures. Cloud cover will begin to dissolve late Monday morning giving way to mostly clear skies. Our high will top out just below 90 at the late July average of 89.

Extended: Highs will continue to increase as we head toward Wednesday and Thursday into the mid-'90s. Heat indices could surpass 100 degrees with some areas nearing 105. Thursday night, clouds will build back into Central Missouri bringing chances of scattered showers and storms. These storms will die out Friday morning leading to partly cloudy skies with a slight cool down heading into the weekend from the mid-'90s we'll see on Wednesday and Thursday.
