Tracking rain to kick off the week

Today: Scattered showers are possible today with no severe weather expected. Skies are cloudy all day and highs are cooler in the mid to upper 70s.

Tomorrow: Rain chances continue for Monday with a possible rumble of thunder in the afternoon. Highs stick to the upper 70s.

Extended: Clouds and rain exit quickly Monday night for a clear and dry Tuesday. Highs will jump back into the upper 80s - this will be the best time to get outdoors this week with more rain chances on the way. Wednesday looks mostly dry with more clouds as a system slides by to the north, but watch out for a shower or two. We're tracking a front moving through Mid-Missouri by the end of the week, bringing chances for more developed rain and storms. All this rain and cloud cover keeps highs in the upper 80s the rest of the week.
