Tracking a clear and warm July 4th weekend

Tonight: Winds continue out of the northeast allowing for us to see these below-average temperatures for early July with a low of 69 degrees. Clouds will continue to remain clear throughout the night.

Tomorrow: A high-pressure system located over Missouri currently will allow for a sunny and warm July 4th Sunday. Our high will top out at 89 degrees which will make for a great day to go out and enjoy festivities. The evening hour's temperatures will cool into the 70's in time for the fireworks to begin.

Extended: Monday and Tuesday look to be dry with the lingering high-pressure system slowly pushing east. By Tuesday night, chances of showers and storms increase as a low-pressure system moves into the area. Wednesday we can expect to see a line of storms and showers push through much of Missouri. Thursday and Friday, late afternoon scattered convective storms will develop allowing for some areas to see light rainfall totals.
