Tracking a cool and wet week ahead

Tonight: Throughout the evening, scattered showers and storms will continue to push through Mid-Missouri. During the early morning hours, storms will dissipate into showers. The overnight low will drop to 69 degrees.

Tomorrow: We will see a break from the rain about mid-morning as we begin to warm up to the mid-80's. By the early afternoon, scattered showers and storms begin to develop once again. The greatest threats with these storms will be flash flooding and possible damaging winds.

Extended: A low-pressure system will slowly slide just north of Missouri causing for off and on showers and storms throughout the rest of the week. By Friday, the low pressure system pushes out to the east while a high pressure system slides in giving us a break from the rain and storms on Saturday. Winds will shift from the southwest to the north allowing for us to only reach 79 degrees on Friday.
