Severe weather threat still underway

TONIGHT: Storms stick around overnight, keeping the flooding threat. Flash flooding will continue to pose a threat to a large portion of the viewing area. Lows will fall into the upper 60s.

TOMORROW: Flooded areas will continue to be an issue. The National Weather Service has extended the Flash Flood Watch until 10AM Saturday morning. Our Weather Alert Day will expire at the same time. On and off rain showers and thunderstorms will continue throughout the day.

EXTENDED: Our frontal boundary will stick around into the weekend, leading to a few more rounds of storms Saturday and Sunday. These don’t look like they’ll be quite as widespread or heavy, but will be enough to impact outdoor plans. Temperatures will stick around the 80’s during the afternoons. Showers and storms will stay possible into next week, but look like they’ll be more confined to the afternoon and evening hours.
