Tracking thunderstorms and an early week cool down

Tonight: Overnight scattered thunderstorm move in from the north bringing with it chances of hail and strong winds. The overnight low drops to 71 and by late this evening these storms begin to weaken and push southeast.

Tomorrow: Father's Day starts out dry and warm with a few very spotty light showers around noon. Skies begin to clear in the afternoon allowing for temperatures to rise into the mid-90's. Sunday night after 10, an approaching cold front slides in from the northwest bringing with it chances of strong to severe storms tomorrow night into Monday morning. The greatest threats for tomorrow are hail of 1" in diameter, lightning, and strong winds.

Extended: As the cold front advances over Mid-Missouri Monday morning, showers begin to push southeast and temperatures begin to fall dramatically by the afternoon. The high for Tuesday will be 78. The rest of the week we sit below the average high of 86 until Thursday and Friday where we increase to around 90 with chances of more storms moving in.
