Tracking Above Average Heat and Late Week Storms

Today: Another warm and clear day as the high tops out at 93. Winds continue out of the northeast at 5-10 mph.

Tomorrow: A three-degree cool-down takes place as a dry cold front moves through during the overnight hours. Highs top out in the upper 80's with mostly clear sky conditions.

Extended: Temperatures and dewpoints increase by the end of the week along with chances for spotty thunderstorms/showers. Thursday morning begins the first wave of scattered storms. Friday night into Saturday morning begins our second and more widespread storms pushing in from the northeast. The biggest threats with these storms will be lightening and some downpours.
