Tracking strong storms moving in this morning

storms

THURSDAY: Rounds of showers and storms throughout the day with the threat of severe weather with each. Highs will top out near 80 this afternoon. For the latest details on the threats and timing, head over to the Stormtrack Insider Blog.

TONIGHT: The severe threat will be here until about midnight. Overnight lows will fall into the middle 50’s.

EXTENDED: The rain clears out into Friday, but the clouds will be a bit more stubborn. That will help keep highs in the low 60’s heading into the holiday weekend. We’ll break out the sunshine and some warmer weather into Saturday and Sunday. Highs will stretch back into the upper 60’s and low 70’s. The rain chances look to return on Memorial Day itself. They’ll be off and on from there through Wednesday. Temperatures look to be holding steady into next week, in the middle 70’s.
