Tracking showers today and a warmer week ahead

TODAY: A frontal system passing through will bring chances for rain today. Light showers will likely begin just before noon and continue into the evening. Most of us will only see 1/10" or less. If counties up north get cold enough, some of the rain could switch to a wintry mix. Little to no accumulation is expected.

MONDAY: Behind the rain comes windy conditions and clearer skies. Sunshine returns for the workweek to help boost temperatures into the mid-40s. Breezes are likely throughout the day, with wind gusts up to 25 mph.

EXTENDED: We dry out with continued sunshine and temperatures in the 50s by Tuesday. A weak disturbance may roll through in the middle of the week, but precipitation chances are low. Temperatures will continue to stick to seasonal averages through next weekend.
