Tracking snow and plunging temperatures Saturday

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with a few flurries possible. Lows in the low 20s.

TOMORROW: A Weather Alert Day is in effect with snow showers moving in by late morning through mid-evening. 1-3" of accumulation is expected along with temperatures falling from the upper 20s to the low teens by early evening.

EXTENDED: Expect slick roads into Saturday night as temperatures begin to drop rapidly. Temperatures only make it to the upper teens to around 20 on Sunday with cloudy skies and a chance for a few flurries. Wind chills fall into the single digits once again on Monday, along with a chance of freezing rain and snow, especially north of I-70.
