Tracking a few slick spots with another foggy start
MONDAY: Dense fog is going to be a problem again this morning. Build in lots of extra time throughout the morning to take it slow. Not only will visibility be reduced, but a few slick spots will be possible where temperatures are hovering near freezing. That fog will slowly lift into this afternoon, but sunshine will be hard to come by. Highs will reach the upper 30’s to some low 40’s.
TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy skies stick around as lows tumble into the middle 20’s.
EXTENDED: It looks like we’ll finally get out of the clouds Tuesday with highs topping out in the middle 40’s. It’s a short-lived break, unfortunately, as our next storm system moves in Wednesday. Rain will move in during the day on Wednesday but could switch over to snow overnight into Thursday morning. At this point, it doesn’t appear to be anything concerning as light as it’s expected to be. There are still some questions about the exact path this system will take to answer, that could bring rain/snow chances down. That will move out Thursday afternoon with highs on their way into the upper 30’s, where they’ll stay for the rest of the week. Sunshine looks tough to find heading into this weekend.
