Tracking dense fog and stubborn clouds

TODAY: Widespread dense fog is expected across most of the area throughout the morning. This could reduce visibility to less than 1/10th of a mile. Expect roads to be icy as well with below-freezing temperatures to start the morning. Conditions will warm into the afternoon with highs topping out in the upper 30s. Fog should begin to clear in the afternoon but is likely to return overnight.

MONDAY: Fog will plague the roadways again in the morning. The start of the workweek will be warmer with highs in the low 40s. Clouds will finally make a noticeable exit and bring some sunshine.

EXTENDED: Mild weather continues into Tuesday with highs in the mid-40s and more sunshine. Unfortunately, this will be short-lived as another system moves through on Wednesday. This could bring widespread rain and a mixture of snow throughout all of Wednesday and early on Thursday. Once this system moves through, seasonal highs in the upper 30s return for next weekend.
