Snow showers expected tonight, a few slick spots possible by morning

THIS AFTERNOON: Cold, cloudy conditions hold on for the rest of the evening. A few flurries are possible. Anything that has the potential to accumulate will happen well after sunset.

TONIGHT: Snow showers are possible, especially south of I-70. A band of around 0.5" looks to be possible from Osage Beach through Fulton. That's where the best chance of a few slick spots on the road will be. In general if you're south of I-70, build in a few extra minutes to your morning routine and you'll be A-OK. The snow will melt quickly by late Wednesday morning.

EXTENDED: That disturbance moves east Wednesday, but will leave behind cold air as sunshine returns. Highs will be stuck in the upper 30’s Wednesday before warming into the 40’s Thursday. We keep the ball rolling into the weekend, with a chance to get to 50 Friday. A cold front slides through into Saturday, but precipitation chances look slim with it. Highs will suffer a setback Saturday, back into the mid to upper 40’s but will bounce back Sunday. Appears the holiday week is trending warmer than average, with a good chance to keep the low 50’s around.
