Tracking one last magnificent day before the rain returns
THURSDAY: It’s going to be another spectacular day to get outside! Sunshine will be out and about as temperatures reach the middle 60’s.
TONIGHT: Clouds will increase late tonight as our next storm system approaches from the west. Rain looks like it will hold off until Friday morning.
EXTENDED: Rain overspreads the area early tomorrow and will be off and on throughout the day. Highs look to only top out in the upper 40’s to near 50. That rain will linger into the overnight hours Friday night. If we can keep the precipitation around long enough Saturday as the colder air moves in, we could see a few flakes flying. Our best chance at that is going to be in our northern counties. It doesn’t look like it’s going to be anything impactful on the roads if it does materialize. If we were going to be tracking any grassy accumulations, north of HWY 24 is the best bet. Sunday looks quiet and cool with highs in the 30’s. We bounce back but keep the quiet weather around next week with highs back in the 40’s.
