Tracking rain moving in overnight

TODAYSunshine is sticking around to help warm us up a little. Temperatures will rise to the upper 40s with some places topping out around 50.

TONIGHT: Rain will begin pushing in from the south just after midnight and continue through tomorrow morning. Lows overnight fall to the upper 20s, and some of the rain may mix with some snowflakes. This won't amount to much more than a dusting and most flakes will stay south of I-44.

EXTENDED: After a brief mixing with some snow, that will turn back over to all rain Thursday before departing toward the afternoon. Highs will only warm to near 40 in the afternoon. If this system slows down, we may have to bring back rain on Friday, but most of that should be east of the area. Another disturbance dives south Saturday but looks to make a dry pass through the area. Temperatures look to remain pretty seasonal going forward, with highs in the 40’s just about every day.
