Tracking frigid conditions for Monday

TODAY: Cold temperatures will continue this afternoon as some places struggle to get above freezing. Winds will continue to be unrelenting and keep feels-like temperatures in the low 30s. Clear skies will continue as we dip back into the teens overnight.

TUESDAY: Expect another freezing morning with temperatures in the upper teens and low 20s. Winds begin to die down just after midnight. Thankfully, we jump back into the 40s by the afternoon and see clear skies stick around.

EXTENDEDWednesday will also be clear and a little warmer in the mid-40s. However, our next rain maker looks to move in late Wednesday night and pushes temps back into the upper 30s for Thursday. Expect some showers throughout the morning on Thursday, with some places north of and along I-70 seeing some snowflakes. These are expected to stay light so not much accumulation is expected. Skies clear out again by next weekend and temps go back into the 40s.
